Nobody dares to pull back the blinds and speak the unpleasant truths that we will not face-yay verily, the truths we cannot face.
For to face these truths and see them for what they really are would shatter our/your perception of our/your 'advanced' intelligence.

We are ALL clueless about driving at any speed greater than 25 or 30 mph.
The stagering number of crashes EVERY DAY is proof.......we, everybody that drives, .....YOU don't have a clue.

We are clueless about the power alcohol has over ALL of us, drinkers AND nondrinkers.
Do some research, how many people EVERY DAY are injured/killed by somebody under the influence.
And yet it's acceptable to sip a martini, have a few beers, go out bar hoppin, go out partying, wave a beer around while somebody is shooting video of your party.
ALCOHOL OWNS US AND WILL CONTINUE
TO UNLEASH MASSIVE SUFFERING UPON
WHOSOEVER IT DESIRES.
We welcome it in to our lives, yay verily we CELEBRATE it.
Every time you're enjoying some, others are going through some form of hell caused by it.

We are clueless about religion/faith.
No religion is needed to 'know' God.
Religion paints a fantasy picture of God and then wants to assign blame when somebody has a crisis of faith.....it's hard to remain faithful to fantasy when reality demands your attention.
This fantasy image is why non believers avoid the subject.

We think we know how evolution works, we are clinging to an unproven misconception.
After all these years they find plenty of evidence of individual species that are simular to other species,
but still haven't found the 'link' skelletons that show the intermediate changes taking place.
Don't cling to a 'supposition' just because you don't like the competitor's 'supposition'.

We make assumptions about mysteries, thereby quashing the possibility of properly investigating them.
We assume that anything in the sky that looks or acts wierd is a vehicle/ship.
It may be, but if it's not we need to stifle our first reaction and be prepared to see .......a brilliantly crafted helium balloon? or something else totally far flung from the concept of a vehicle or a 'ship'.
Why do they use lights? Can they not dodge any plane that gets near?
do they WANT us to see them?
WHY?? in the last 60 years and thousands and thousands of sightings, not one has stoppen in for tea and crumpets.
They DO NOT LIKE US!!!

The Gun-(My Gun)

confidence builder for the little guy.
He will go places and do things that he wouldn't otherwise.
He may visit a bar that he wisely avoided before the gun.
He may walk a street that he wisely avoided before the gun.
He may walk with a more confident swagger at school with the gun.
He may show his buddys to bolster his self esteem.
He may let his buddy borrow the gun.
He may have borrowed the gun, expecting trouble from somebody.
He may have bought the gun from a friend....who may have been a gang member......Why and where does he get so much money?.....Why dont his parents know he has that much money.....why dont his parents know how that much money is spent?
He may have taken the gun from his fathers 'hiding spot'.....putting it back excactly as he found it....his father never checks on it and never knows when he's taken it out.
He may have bought the gun from a pawn shop, gun shop, gun show, or private party......with money from his paycheck.
He may be just holding the gun for his buddy...he's the good kid in the bunch and nobody ever suspects or searches him.....His parents never pry....he's a good kid.
He may go looking for a rival / enemy after getting a gun.
He may have the gun in a safe place, locked up securely.....only brought out for show or maybe target practice.....his home is a fairly stable peacefull place.
He may have the gun just sitting in a drawer, a box in the closet, under the bed......and hasn't checked on it in a very long time......his home is a fairly stable peacefull place.

He may have lost his gun in a burglary....he didn't have it locked in a built in safe.
How will that gun be used as it's passed from person to person?
Guns are cool.
Guns are a work of fine craftsmanship..

new bill being discussed.
Instead of rendering medical treatment,
anybody with a cancer will be given free pain relievers.
If any politician ever tried a trick like this, he/she would be tarred and feathered and run out of town.

Where then is the outrage over this proposal to offer birth controll to sexually active preteen girls.

Instead of diagnosing -(Why are they active at that age?)-and fixing their lives they want to just dampen the symptoms with a pill.

School shootings.
Parents, how will you feel about mandatory school attendance after your child
is shot by that angry student?
Students, how do you feel knowing that you MUST attend school every day knowing that any day a fellow classmate will show up with a gun and start shooting?
The way our schools are today ensures an increase in future shootings.

I think not.

PUBLIC schools??

PRO God and the wisdom he has so freely supplied...easily and readily visible with the naked eye all around us every day, everywhere you look.
God is nothing at all like 'He's' portrayed in "the books"

It seems that with all our gray matter we just can't seem to get it through our heads that we need to stop GUESSING about what God is about.--Religions are our attempts at guesses.
